Berry Oatmeal with Hemp Seeds, Walnuts, and Almond Milk
Serves 2
2 cups water
Pinch of sea salt
1 cup rolled oats (I use Bob’s Red Mill Gluten Free Rolled Oats)
1 cup berries of choice (I used blueberries and blackberries)
Miyokos Creamery unsalted butter (This is a delicious vegan cultured butter. You can also use regular butter if you prefer)
Hemp seeds
Handful of chopped walnuts
Almond milk or other milk of choice
Maple Syrup
Instructions
Bring the water to a boil. Add a small pinch of sea salt and the oats, give it a stir and reduce heat to medium so it doesn’t boil over. Add the berries and continue cooking for 8-10 minutes or until the oatmeal has thickened.
Divide into individual bowls. Top with some Miyokos Creamery butter, a sprinkle of hemp seeds, some chopped walnuts, almond milk, and a drizzle of maple syrup.
