Avocado Toast
Serves 2
2 thick slices of a high quality country or sourdough bread
Extra virgin olive oil
1 medium avocado
Lemon
Red chili flakes
Sea salt
Black pepperÂ
Instructions
Toast your bread until golden. Drizzle each slice with a little olive oil and a sprinkle of sea salt.
Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh with a spoon, smashing the avocado down on the slices of toast so you cover all the surface area.
Drizzle the avocado with a little olive oil and a squeeze of lemon juice. Add a pinch of red chili flakes to the top of the avocado and season each piece with sea salt and black pepper.
